Granite Care
Granite is a natural stone that is quarried from mountains all over the world. This type of stone is highly resistant against stains and extreme temperatures, and the most desirable for today's modern homes.
Marble is more porous and less denser than granite. This type of stone is used more for aesthetic purposes, and requires more maintanance than granite.
Stone care products such as sealers and cleaners will help improve the granite's natural resistance. When we install granite countertops, we do seal the granite for you. However, additional sealing is recommended at least once a year for maximum resistance against stains. In taking care of your countertop, we recommend cleaning with stone cleaner or mild soap and water, especially after cooking.
You should always use cleaning products specifically made for granite and natural stone. We recommend Stone Specific or equivalent Granite Cleaner + Resealer for everyday cleaning, and Pledge Extra Moisturizing for protection and shine.

Stainless Steel sink Care
After every use, rinse thoroughly, then wipe the sink dry with a clean soft cloth. Wiping is the key; this will inhibit water spotting and mineral deposits in severe hard water conditions.
Products* available in hardware and grocery stores that can be used every day to protect, polish and clean your stainless steel sink are recommended.
BlancoDiamond SILGRANIT sink Care
Daily cleaning may be done with any non-abrasive cleaner (i.e. BLANCOCLEAN Composite Sink Cleaner). After every use, rinse and wipe the sink dry with a clean, soft cloth to eliminate any water spots or soap film build-ups.
For stains, please use BLANCOCLEAN, along with a soft scouring pad.
A solution of 50% bleach, 50% water should only be used for tough, stubborn stains. Let the solution sit in the bottom of the sink for one hour; then scrub. Rinse well. Also, the use of Bar Keepers Friend* (directions included on bottle) will help remove stubborn stains. Finally, clean with BLANCOCLEAN to put a protective coating back on the sink's surface.
Do not use any abrasive cleaning agents or scrub pads, such as Steel Wool; Do not use straight bleach; Do not use commercial alkalis, such as ammonia and/or caustic solutions; Do not use drain blocking chemicals that involve filling the sink with water.
* Always test cleaning product or stain remover in a small, non-visible location.
